SEN Provision / St. James School | Northamptonshire
The provision of a purpose-built SEN (Special Educational Needs) classroom for a local school, designed to create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment for pupils with additional needs.
-
This project focused on delivering a high-quality, thoughtfully designed educational space tailored specifically for SEN provision. Careful consideration was given to layout, lighting, acoustics, and overall atmosphere to ensure the space fosters both focus and wellbeing.
-
Our turn-key offering provided a one-stop provision of full design, groundworks and services, manufacture and installation of the classroom facility.
Working in close collaboration with the school, we developed a bespoke solution that addressed specific educational and operational requirements to a schedule that suited them.
-
A key priority was minimising disruption to the school’s day-to-day operations, requiring careful planning around term times and site constraints.
Additionally, the design needed to balance durability with a warm, welcoming feel, while meeting all relevant educational and building standards. Through clear communication and efficient project management, the classroom was delivered seamlessly and on schedule.
-
The completed SEN classroom provides a calm, inclusive, and highly functional learning environment that supports both students and staff. The space enhances the school’s ability to deliver tailored education, contributing positively to pupil engagement and development. This project demonstrates our ability to apply our design and manufacturing expertise into educational provision, delivering meaningful spaces within the education sector.
